Euler Hermes Rating nimmt das Rating der Joh. Friedrich Behrens AG von der Watchlist und hebt dieses auf BB- an

Hamburg (ots) - Euler Hermes Rating hat am 13. Juni 2017 eine neueMethodik für das Rating von kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen in Deutschland veröffentlicht. Das Rating der Joh. Friedrich Behrens AG fällt unter die Anwendung der neuen Methodik. Aufgrund der daraus resultierenden Methodenänderung wurde das Unternehmensrating der Joh.Friedrich Behrens AG auf die Watchlist gesetzt. Mit der Erteilung desaktuellen Ratings wird das Rating der Joh. Friedrich Behrens AG wieder von der Watchlist genommen. Gleichzeitig hebt Euler Hermes Rating das Rating auf BB- an. Ausschlaggebend hierfür ist die positive Entwicklung des Unternehmens in den vergangenen 12 Monaten.

Behrens konnte seine Umsätze in den vergangenen Jahren überproportional zum Marktwachstum steigern und hierbei die Profitabilität durch eine Verbesserung und Flexibilisierung der Kostenstruktur erhöhen. Durch neue Finanzierungsinstrumente konnte die Laufzeitenstruktur diversifiziert sowie auch die Zinslast deutlich verringert werden. Diese nachhaltigen Verbesserungen sind für uns der Anlass der Ratingverbesserung. Behrens verfügt aufgrund einer breiten, qualitativ hochwertigen Produktpalette, einer hohen Lieferfähigkeit und gutem Service über eine führende Wettbewerbsposition. Während Behrens kundenseitig und regional eine gute Diversifikation aufweist, bestehen Konzentrationsrisiken in den Geschäftssegmenten. Für den Sektor erwarten wir mittelfristig eine Verstetigung des moderaten Wachstumstrends der vergangenen Jahre. DieBilanzstruktur ist von einem hohen Working Capital und einer hohen Verschuldung geprägt. Die finanzielle Flexibilität halten wir insbesondere für ungünstige Marktveränderungen als weiter verbesserungsfähig.

Die Behrens Gruppe ist ein weltweit tätiger und einer der europaweit führenden Hersteller von Befestigungstechnik für Holz. Entwickelt und produziert werden insbesondere druckluft- und gasbetriebene Nagel- und Klammergeräte sowie die entsprechenden Befestigungsmittel. Die Gruppe erwirtschaftete im Jahr 2016 mit mehr als 400 Mitarbeitern Umsatzerlöse von EUR 110 Mio.
